I am currently only providing services via Teletherapy (video or phone) due to COVID-19.

New clients are welcome.

My specializations include depression, anxiety, addiction and trauma, utilizing couples counseling, family counseling, dream work, family of origin work, work and career issues and stress management. In a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each of my clients individual needs to help attain the quality of life they’re striving for.

I am an interactive, solution-focused therapist.

My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing. A problem of some sort be it anger, depression, substance abuse or relationship issues is a "call" to look deeper in to what is going on in your life. It is an opportunity for growth, not a failure.

One Time Consultations

One time consultations vary according to your needs. Areas include dream analysis or offering readings from the Tarot or I-Ching if there is a question in your life you wish to explore in more depth.

While I am a California licensed therapist, I am able to, and happily provide, solution-oriented coaching for individuals nationally & internationally, who may be seeking to explore life transitions related to family, job, health, and more.

FAQs of Scheduling an Appointment

Do you accept insurance?

Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Like many experienced mental health professionals, I have elected not to join all health insurance panels. However, many insurance companies will reimburse partial fees for "out-of-network providers" (generally these are PPO or POS plans). I will be glad to furnish you with regular receipts to submit to your insurance company for this purpose. Please check your coverage carefully through your provider by asking the following questions:

  • Do I have mental health insurance benefits?

  • What is my deductible and has it been met?

  • How many sessions per year does my health isnurance cover?

  • What portion of my fee is reimbursed for out-of-network providers?

  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

  • Does my job offer a flex spending program that will cover my therapy?

What are your rates? Do you offer sliding scale or reduced fees?

As my rates are adjusted now and then over time - please contact me to discuss my current rates.

If you need a reduced fee, I encourage you to let me know. If I cannot accommodate your financial need I am glad to help you locate an appropriate referral.

What forms of payment do you take?

Cash and checks accepted.
Paypal is accepted for virtual telehealth sessions.

How long does each therapy session take?

Sessions are generally 50 minutes - however, I can be flexible.
